Crop Favors

It seems like a lifetime since I last added a project to my blog.  I'm so sorry about that.  The last few weeks have been a but crazy.  I have had Strep twice in the last 6 weeks, and it has really knocked me on my butt.  Add that to my school responsibilities, the kids, and family life and crafting just doesn't seem to make the priority list.  Last weekend I attended a local crop with some wonderful women who are part of the Cricut Circle.  In preperation for the the crop I mad a few favors for my friends, as well as some for everyone in attendance of the crop.  I'm excited to share those with you today.

I made twenty of these, one for each person who attended the crop.  The base is a Dean and Deluca Jelly Bean Tin.  I have found that these make wonderful little favors, but they are a bit pricey.  If anyone has a suggestion for a candy in a similar container that is a little less expensive I would love to hear about it.

The tins were altered and embellished using CTMH products.  The Roses were cut using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge ( rose on AP handbook page 68, Font shift at 5.5 inches).    For this project I used the beautiful new Lucy paper pack (X7149B, $9.95).  The roses and the paper wrap on the tin (8 inches by 1 inch) were both from the double sided papers, and I used alternating sides for the tins.  The butterflies are also from CTMH, Flutter Paper Shapes (Z1463 $5.95). The bling is CTMH Bitty (z1263, $2.95).
